It’s always such a treat to photograph a wedding in our home county of Leicestershire. ‘The Shire’ we call it fondly, home of hobbits. We don’t really have hobbits although that would be amazing but we do have the equally fantastic Sarah & Matt who decided to have their laid back and beautiful country wedding at Cattows Farm. They slung a marquee up in a field, scattered hay bales around, added decor, food and drink. After that all that was left was to let the friends and families get on with the good times. All on a gloriously sunny summer day! We really could not have wished for a more quintessentially English day.
We had already got to know these two earlier in the summer when we photographed them at our local beauty spot Bradgate Park. You can check out the photographs from their engagement shoot HERE.
Enjoy looking through their wonderful country wedding and thank you Matt & Sarah for having us along on your big day, you made us feel like old friends!
“Hey guys, wow. Just wow. We’re both so SO happy with the photos. I genuinely can’t put into words how much it means to us to have such an amazing representation of the day.
As you know we were massively apprehensive about the photography initially. However it’s been incredibly easy working with the two of you. To be honest by the end of the day, you were as much guests at our wedding as everyone else.
Me and Sarah thank you both not just for your skill with a camera, but for just being bloody lovely people! It’s been a genuine pleasure from start to finish.”
